Laboratory of Pulmonary Immunology and Mechanics
RESEARCH GROUP’S MISSION
The central objective of the Laboratory of Pulmonary Immunology and Mechanics is the study of the molecular mechanisms involved in pulmonary immunopathology (characterized by inflammatory response and chronic, infectious or not) and their effects on respiratory mechanics in experimental models of relevant diseases, and experimentally pharmacological intervention as a tool for proof of concept and preclinical validation.
