Alguns genes anotados não possuem, em nossa home-page, o alinhamento explícito. Isso ocorre porque o alinhamento não se encontrava entre os 100 melhores scores e, portanto, não possuía descrição. Entretanto o início e o fim da possível ORF estão indicados.
Observação 2
Durante a realização deste trabalho, percebemos que diversas ORFs encontradas com o BLASTx eram sensivelmente menores do que as proteínas às quais elas supostamente seriam homólogas. Isso ocorria porque o códon de terminação "TAA" interromperia a cadeia polipeptídica em todos esses casos. Entretanto, se continuássemos alinhando as sequências após esse códon, a homologia continuaria alta. Postulamos, então, que esse códon deve codificar para algum aminoácido nessa bactéria em questão.
